“Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom.”

We can help Schools do more!

Education is the most powerful force for empowerment—but only when it nurtures the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and moral potential of students. While academic excellence is a priority for most schools, they also strive to develop essential life skills through co-curricular activities, sports, and creative programs. However, in the process, schools often find limited time to fully prepare students for the life ahead.

The formative years of schooling offer a brief yet crucial window to equip children with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values they need to lead successful, meaningful lives. Education should not be about preparing students for exams alone—it should prepare them for life. Yet, this requires more than what schools and teachers can often provide. That’s where we step in—to help bridge the gaps.

AMHARTA Educare’s approach aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2023), ensuring students receive a well-rounded, future-ready education. We work directly with schools to help them translate these national recommendations into practical, classroom-based strategies. Our aim is to foster deeper student engagement, stronger teacher capacity, and a school culture rooted in values, equity, and excellence.

Prepare 4 Life: Beyond Exams, Toward the Future

The true purpose of school is to prepare children for life—not just for exams. When schools lose sight of this larger mission, they often become narrowly focused on academic performance, grades, and syllabus completion. As a result, critical life skills and core values—essential for navigating the world beyond school—are overlooked.

Amharta Prepare 4 Life

At AMHARTA Education, we believe that preparing children ‘4’ life means working simultaneously on four interrelated fronts. These areas align closely with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and together, they help schools reorient toward holistic, future-ready education:

1. Course Content

Learning materials must be activity-based and designed to foster conceptual understanding. This moves children away from rote memorization and enables them to genuinely grasp what they learn, making education meaningful and applicable.

2. Pedagogy

Teaching methods should go beyond textbook dependency. Children thrive when they engage in Cooperative learning (working in pairs or small groups), open-ended inquiry, experiential learning, and project-based exploration.

3. Classroom Management

Effective learning requires a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. We promote humane and innovative management practices that foster focus, respect, active participation, and improved learning.

4. Role of the Teacher

The teacher’s role must evolve from that of an instructor to a facilitator of learning. Reducing teacher talk-time and over-explanation creates space for children to express themselves, explore independently, and become active participants in their own learning journey.

When schools embrace these four dimensions, they prepare children not only to succeed in academics but to thrive in life—with confidence, values, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing world.

Delivered as in-person sessions within regular school hours, these programs introduce innovative and effective educational practices along the four domains mentioned earlier, providing practical strategies that help educators create engaging, impactful learning environments.

By bridging the gap between traditional teaching methods and future-focused learning, AMHARTA Educare helps schools and teachers nurture students with the capabilities they need to lead successful, meaningful lives.

The NEP 2020 has redefined the starting point of formal education, bringing preschool into the mainstream and establishing a new Foundational Stage from Nursery to Grade 2 (ages 3–8). At AMHARTA, we help schools restructure these critical early years with developmentally appropriate environments, play-based pedagogy, and a strong focus on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy—ensuring joyful beginnings and lasting learning outcomes.

An important endeavor at AMHARTA is the help that we provide schools for implementing meaningful programs in moral and values education which aren’t just taught but are lived.

Our approach is deeply rooted in Peace Education, for training children to become Peacemakers—equipped to prevent and resolve conflicts with necessary values, attitudes and skills. In today’s polarized world, this is not just relevant—it is essential.

Parents

We support schools in building constructive, trust-based partnerships with parents, encouraging them to become allies in their children’s education by promoting cooperation over competition, modelling positive values, and fostering a home environment that aligns with the school’s vision for holistic development.

What schools say about us !

At AMHARTA Educare, we are proud of the positive impact created in the schools we’ve partnered with—and grateful for the trust they’ve placed in us. Here’s what some of them have to say about their experience working with us.

Mr. Payam Shoghi conducted a workshop on “Collaborative Learning” for over 50 teachers of our school. His workshop has brought home to all of us the need to bring collaborative practices into our schools and classrooms in an increasingly cut-throat competitive world.
