Parent Support Program

Overview

Parents are children’s first teachers and their involvement in their children’s school education has a great influence on their learning related motivation, application and performance. Many studies have shown that what the family does or does not has a greater impact on a child’s success or failure at school!

AMHARTA Educare provides counseling sessions for parents on request by schools, on issues that have a bearing on children’s performance and application at school. Some of these are: harmful effects of too much competition on children, what and how much one can expect children to achieve, spending quality time with children, providing academic support at home other than through tuition, helping children develop a sense of discipline from within, supporting development of their children’s moral framework, and many others.

Students benefit most from bonds of mutual trust and respect between the school and parents, and when both maintain a positive and constructive working relation. Our work with parents have contributed in bringing parents closer to the school, resulting in improved application and performance of children at school through their parents’ positive support.

These sessions will be delivered during PTA and other gatherings of parents at the school on request.
